Not every solar power system is installed on a roof.
For our client, we had the opportunity to design and build a canopy for electric vehicle charging stations that seamlessly combines wood and solar panels. The 288 glass-on-glass modules from our long-standing partner, Sonnenkraft, not only generate clean electricity with a total output of 120.96 kWp, but also serve as the canopy itself.
We are particularly proud of the dry-glazing technique used in this project. This eliminates the need for silicone joints, which would otherwise have to be inspected or replaced on a regular basis. This ensures a long-lasting solution and reduces future maintenance costs.
