The SONNENKRAFT Campus is excellent.
And with the special prize for innovative European production for outstanding building-integrated photovoltaics
Last week, the Austrian Photovoltaic Technology Platform (TPPV) and the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) honored outstanding building-integrated photovoltaics for the fourth time.
"The company has designed a holistic site concept for communication, teaching and exchange. Various module types are produced in the immediate vicinity of the campus. Customer-specific requirements in terms of dimensions and color can be taken into account and offer a special innovative character," said the jury members in justifying the award for the SONNENKRAFT Campus.
The expert jury of the 4th Innovation Award, made up of architecture and photovoltaic experts from Austria and Switzerland, selected two winning projects and two special prizes for particularly visionary concepts from a total of 38 project submissions.
The newly awarded SONNENKRAFT Campus aims to attract partners from the fields of innovative photovoltaics, pioneering e-mobility and charging technology as well as architects and planners in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and multiply expertise. Interested companies can rent co-working spaces or offices, set up workshops, open showrooms or rent event spaces. It offers a meeting place for business partners, specialist tradespeople and PV specialists. It also serves as an information point for schools and interested private individuals and families.
"The award is a great honor for our entire team and a recognition that innovative Austrian production and value creation are also important in times like these," says Dajana Scherr, Head of Marketing at Sonnenkraft GmbH.
"The Sonnenkraft Campus is a place where the energy of the future has a home, where partnership is lived and where curiosity is satisfied. This would not be possible without our incredible team and our partners. We are looking forward to the future and to what we can achieve together along the way," says Jürgen Hölbling, Managing Director of Vivatro GmbH.
