Where others stop, we start. This is not only the motto for our daily work. We also like to set ourselves special goals in other areas and have put our appearance at the 90th anniversary of the Autumn Fair in the service of a good cause.
"90 years of the Carinthian Autumn Fair is a proud anniversary. We wanted to honor this in a special way and decided without further ado to donate €90 to a good cause for every PV system sold at the fair. It was an additional motivational boost for my team and me to make as many people as possible happy with our photovoltaic solutions," says Jürgen Hölbling, Managing Director of Vivatro GmbH.
After 5 successful days at the fair, we were delighted to raise a donation of around €4,000 and it quickly became clear that this should go to the next generation. More precisely, the children and young people aged 6 to 15 in the Caritas learning cafés in Carinthia. "Unfortunately, we also have many children in Carinthia who are unable to cope with school without help, either because of learning difficulties, because they don't have a suitable place to do their homework or because they don't have the money for extra tuition," we learn from Caritas Director Ernst Sandriesser. That's why the Caritas learning cafés - 9 in Carinthia, 68 throughout Austria - offer free learning and afternoon care. Inspired by this great opportunity to create great opportunities for young people, we also brought our long-standing partner and, in this case, donor on board for the fundraising campaign. The Carinthian fairs quickly increased the donation amount by another €1000, so that last week we were able to hand over a proud €5000 for the valuable work of Caritas. "Thanks to their commitment, we can provide intensive educational support for the children and young people in our learning cafés. Education is the best way to prevent poverty. We must leave no child behind. Because the children of today are the pillars of tomorrow's society." Director Sandriesser is delighted with the wonderful donation and thanks Vivatro GmbH and the Carinthian trade fairs.
Not a one-off event. "Vivatro will definitely be a 'repeat offender'," assures Jürgen Hölbling, who is currently preparing for the annual home builders' fair in Klagenfurt with his team. "Even if there is no special anniversary this time, we definitely want to continue this campaign and will once again be diligently donating for every completed order during the home builders' fair from 23 - 25 February."
